Chad has never had it easy, not with an abusive father, a mother who killed herself, and the mental illness taking over his life. Add to that a rejection from Dion, the teacher he’s in love with, and it seems like his life is pretty much as terrible as it can get.

Jeremy's at his limit after discovering Dion's been cheating on him, the very last thing he needs is the student Dion was sleeping with showing up at his door. But he's not heartless either, and helps Chad out. His problems compound when he realizes Dion isn't over Chad, even as he acknowledges he's falling for Chad himself. But love is hard enough on its own, without all the problems threatening to destroy Chad from the inside out.
