I’ve got three series’ I’m working on right now and it’s driving me mental. Well, not technically, it’s all good, but… I want to write books in all three, right now, but I can only work on one book at a time, and so it’s a constant battle of what books to write.
I’m nearing the end of NORTHERN LIGHTS. What comes after? I want to write some more in that series, to get it going properly, but I also want to write more in both the MORE and SOULS series.
Where do I find the time to write all these stories? I’m not going to run out of ideas any time soon, at least.
I’ve got websites I want to work on, for all three series, but at the same time I want to write, so… no time! I flit from one thing to the next without finishing one first.
At least one story’s getting somewhere: NORTHERN LIGHTS. It has changed so much. So many new words. It’ll be a novel now – without adding Northern Skies and Black Sun to it as was the plan. They have to be combined into their own stories, to make a second novel.
I also need to rewrite Andreas (name to be changed) and Christian’s book, POLAR NIGHTS. That’s going to change a lot too. Then the background stories, which has no happy ending – and then actually write the happy ending books to those characters. Makes sense? Maybe not.
I’ll make a post about it. Perhaps when I launch the website. It’s going to be so nice, but it takes time to set it up the way I want. I’d need a whole day dedicated to only that so I can devote all my time to it. But who’s got that time? So I’m tinkering with it here and there. It’s not like I’m in a rush – I haven’t even finished the first book yet, after all.
But I feel like I’m in a rush. I have to get it done, both the website and the book. And I have to update the other websites, and get stories written in those series. I have to go through stories that are already written, get them off to edits, format them. I have to make paperbacks (which I used to like, but Createspace and I hate each other now, so it’s a pain in my arse). But I want paperbacks in my bookshelf!
I’ve got so much to do. Better get back to it. This was just a little update, to reveal that I am working on lots of things. And got a lot coming!
