On writing

I went from a good week of writing to an abysmal one. 2,800 words. That’s it. The end of last year and the beginning of the new year really hasn’t been good, writing wise. Last week was the best one, but that was the only week in I don’t even know how long I managed to break 10K. I hope my motivation will come back. I need it to come back to me now!

On reading

I started the week off with reading Der vinden får hvile (Where the Wind Rests), the third book in the Norwegian historical/paranormal series I’m reading. I started on the book in class, because I was tired and needed to stay awake, and I suddenly I’d finished the entire book. I also skimmed my way through Carol Lynne’s Extinction, the first in her Refuge Shifter series. Next up was the fourth book in Trollruner (Magical Runes), Blind måne (Blind Moon) followed by the fifth and sixth books respectively, Måneheksen (The Moon Witch) and Svartalver (Black Elves). All enjoyable books. Still as cliche as ever, but good entertainment.
